Our Project
VILANOVAA
is a lifestyle brand located in A Costa da Morte, Galicia, Spain, that articulates the projects and management of a family business dedicated to the rental of holiday homes in Galicia, the sale of products for the garden and orchard, and the design and sale of high-quality handcrafted pieces for a more natural home.
We rehabilitate traditional houses to turn them into splendid holiday homes that we have been renting since 2013. Since then, we have had a clear goal: that when you are traveling in Galicia and choose one of our holiday homes to stay in, you feel at home. We know that there is no feeling in the world that makes you feel better than being in your own home.
Later, we incorporated a warehouse for products for the field, orchard, and garden into the project. This activity was started by our grandmother Dorinda in 1935, at the main markets in the region, and was later managed for over 40 years by our parents, Jesús and María, who are highly valued and appreciated in the area for their performance in this local business.
Gradually, many of our guests began asking us for pieces and decorative furniture that we have in the holiday homes. Seeing that the pieces we designed were liked and encouraged by family and friends, we decided to create our own product line, which you can find in our warehouse in Carballo and now also in our online store. This is how, at the end of 2023, we launched our online store www.vilanovaa.com, allowing us to bring our handcrafted products, made slowly, to those who love a more relaxed and healthy lifestyle so they can enjoy them as much as we do.
Similarly, as a natural evolution, after advising our guests for 10 years on the main points of interest in Galicia, the best restaurants, activities, and shops, it was also time to create a travel and lifestyle blog, Galicia Natural Blog, to share our favorite places in our native Galicia with travelers from around the world. In the blog, you will find guides, restaurant addresses, activities, and shopping in Galicia. Galicia Natural Blog is also where we share information about inspiring holiday rental homes for a natural lifestyle.

Since its inception, the family has acquired valuable know-how, accumulated over three generations, which has allowed us to select the best products, many of them produced in-house, to offer to our long-time customers and new ones from around the world, as we have been doing for almost 90 years.
To our guests, we offer the opportunity to stay in our holiday homes, located in the heart of nature, guaranteeing a peaceful retreat just a step away from everything.

THE TEAM
Eva and Roberto Vilanova, she is an Industrial Organization Engineer and Industrial Technical Engineer, and he is an Industrial Organization Engineer and Telecommunications Technical Engineer.
A well-knit team created thanks to a solid base of local suppliers and artisans, without whom this project would not be possible, made up of: Farmers, carpenters, stone restorers, potters and ceramists, weavers, engineers and architects.
