Our Project
VILANOVAA is a lifestyle brand located in A Costa da Morte, Galicia, Spain, which articulates the projects and management of a family business dedicated to renting holiday homes in Galicia, selling products for the orchard and garden, and designing and selling high-quality handcrafted pieces for a more natural home. We rehabilitate traditional houses to turn them into splendid holiday homes that we have been renting since 2013. Since then, we have had a clear objective: that when you are traveling in Galicia and choose one of our holiday homes to stay in, you feel at home. We are aware that there is no feeling in the world that makes you feel better than being in your own home. Later, we incorporated the warehouse of products for the countryside, orchard and garden into the project. An activity that had been started, from a very young age, in 1935, by our grandmother Dorinda, in the main markets of the region and that had subsequently been managed for more than 40 years by our parents, Jesús and María, highly valued and appreciated throughout the area for their performance at the head of this local business. Little by little, many of our guests were asking us for pieces and decorative furniture that we have in their holiday homes, so seeing that the pieces we had designed were liked and encouraged by family and friends, we decided to create our own line of products, which you can find in our warehouse in Carballo and now also in our online store. This is how at the end of 2023 we launched our online store www.vilanovaa.com. Allowing us to bring our products, handcrafted in a leisurely way, to lovers of a more relaxed and healthy lifestyle so that they can enjoy them as much as we do. Similarly, and as a natural evolution, after advising our guests for 10 years on the main points of interest in Galicia, the best restaurants, activities and shops, now was also the time to create a travel and lifestyle blog, Galicia Natural Blog, to share with travellers from all over the world the favourite places in our native Galicia. On the blog you will find guides, addresses of restaurants, activities and shopping in Galicia. Galicia Natural Blog is also the place where we share information on holiday rental houses that inspire a natural lifestyle. WHAT WE OFFER We offer our clients the experience of buying the best quality products, in a long-standing store, firmly committed to local development and sustainability. Since its inception, the family has acquired a precious know-how, accumulated over three generations, which has allowed us to select the best products, many of them of our own production, to offer them to our long-standing customers and to new ones from all over the world, as we have been doing for almost 90 years. And we offer our guests the option of staying in our holiday homes, located in the heart of nature, which guarantee a peaceful retreat and close to everything. THE TEAM It is led by two siblings, Eva and Roberto Vilanova, she is an Industrial Organisation Engineer and Industrial Technical Engineer, and he is an Industrial Organisation Engineer and Telecommunications Technical Engineer. A well-knit team created thanks to a solid base of local suppliers and artisans, without whom this project would not be possible, made up of: Farmers, carpenters, stone restorers, potters and ceramists, weavers, engineers and architects.
